CFDA 2012 Awards Nominees & Honorees

With a list of nominees that includes The Row's Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen and Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez — not to mention a list of honorees that includes Rei Kawakubo and Johnny Depp — this year's CFDA Awards promise to be extra-exciting. At the announcement event in March — held at Diane von Furstenberg's studio and attended by Phillip Lim, Joe Zee, and Rachel Roy — the anticipation was nearly palpable.
"Winning a CFDA Fashion Award is the highest and one of the most coveted honors one can receive in our industry," CEO Steven Kolb said as he announced the nominees and honorees. Organizers for Fashion's Night Out have set the dates for the fourth annual edition of the global shopping party.

All 19 territories that have their own version of Vogue will observe Fashion's Night Out this year, meaning there will be events in 19 countries spanning three weeks. Below, a breakdown of which nations will join the party, and when:

This morning, Macy’s revealed their soon-to-be-in-stores collaboration with Francisco Costa. The line—which marks the first time Costa has designed and sold something for less than his usual designer prices at Calvin Klein Collection—goes on sale May 15 and runs $135 to $180. His trademark streamlined minimalism shines through the capsule of dresses, which were inspired by the architecture and sunsets of his native country, Brazil. Appropriate, then, that Brazilian model Izabel Goulart stars in the collection’s imagery, above. See entire collection below
